My favorite superhero is Batman. He didn’t have the ability to fly, stop speeding bullets, conjure up anything he could imagine using an alien ring, or run fast enough to go back in time. He was just a guy with no super powers¹. Instead he relied on his wit, his instinct, and a whole host of gadgets to take down the Joker, the Riddler, the Penguin, and others.
While I don’t fight crime at night², I too rely on a slew of gadgets to get the job done. The Utility Belt will be where I share my thoughts on technology that I’m using with you. Most items I purchase on my own, but there are some which are given to me through evaluation programs. Each review will be sure to identify how I acquired the reviewed device
¹ I once read an interesting article that suggested Bruce Wayne’s wealth was Batman’s true super power. On one hand, it’s hard to argue because without that wealth there would be no Batmobile, BatWing, or other technology. On the other hand, Peter Parker created his own technology as Spiderman, and wasn’t independently wealthy. So for me, the jury is out.
² I’m not saying I’m Batman, but we have not been seen anywhere at the same time. Just sayin’.
